Meet PlancheTina

Meet PlancheTina, the sassiest summoned spirit of Paranormal Playback’s podcast series.

The Summoning of PlancheTina

Paranormal Playback ghost mascot PlancheTina, a cream-colored planchette with attitude

As told by those who absolutely should’ve known better.

They didn’t mean to summon anything.

(Or maybe they did. It’s still up for debate.)

One late night, somewhere between a production deadline and a bottle of wine, Melanie, Charlie, and Lauren cracked open a dusty ouija board they found in the props closet. They asked it a question. Then another. And another.

The planchette started to glow.

The window shimmered.

And with a pop of glitter, a flicker of sass, and a voice that said “finally,” PlancheTina arrived.

Who Is PlancheTina?

She’s not your average spirit. She doesn’t haunt, she hovers. She hypes. She hosts.

Summoned from beyond (or possibly from a bottle of chilled rosé), PlancheTina emerged from the ouija board to bless us with paranormal insight and petty commentary.

Her default form is the shape she came through: a planchette ghost. But she morphs as needed. Sometimes she floats. Sometimes she sparkles. Sometimes she shows up in a wine glass during a séance and says, “this vintage is giving haunted vineyard, and I’m obsessed.”

Since that first summoning, PlancheTina’s been with us, helping host Rosé & Readings, judging ghost bros, and taste-testing wine with suspiciously strong opinions for someone with no working liver.

So if you hear a clink, a giggle, or a sarcastic breeze…

That’s just Tina.

And she’s already judging you.

What Era is she from?

Honestly? We don’t know.
She gives late 1970s disco occult with a dash of 2000s Myspace chaos.

She’s claimed to have once attended a séance with Houdini and to have ghosted a backup singer from Fleetwood Mac.
We don’t ask questions anymore.
